Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OutlierView collects, uses, and protects information when creators use the service to manage content workflows and connect platforms.

Information We Collect

  • Account information such as your name, email address, and workspace details when you sign up or log in.
  • Billing information such as billing name, address, subscription status, plan, renewal or cancellation state, invoice and transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata. Stripe processes full payment credentials; OutlierView does not store full card numbers but may display card brand and last four digits.
  • Content and workflow data you provide or sync, including YouTube channel identifiers and metadata, authorized video and content history, comment text and author display names, creator-submitted replies, YouTube Analytics metrics and reports, and content ideas.
  • Aggregated or derived workspace data created from authorized YouTube data, including dashboard summaries, classifications, embeddings, trend reports, and creator insights.
  • Platform connection data when you connect accounts such as YouTube or TikTok, including platform account identifiers, granted scopes, and encrypted OAuth tokens.
  • Usage, security, and technical data such as masked IP address, IP-derived country, device type, browser, pages visited, timestamps, and operational logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

Payments And Billing Records

  • Stripe processes subscription checkout, payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and billing-portal actions on OutlierView's behalf.
  • OutlierView keeps subscription, invoice, credit-ledger, and transaction records needed to provide the service, prevent fraud, answer billing questions, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
  • Payment and billing records may be retained after account deletion when required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

  • Strictly necessary cookies are required for sign-in, security, consent preferences, and core app features.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand visits, performance, page paths, device and browser information, and product usage so we can improve OutlierView.
  • Advertising cookies may help us measure ad campaigns and conversions, but OutlierView does not use connected YouTube data, OAuth tokens, comments, creator analytics, transcripts, or workspace content for advertising or retargeting.
  • Functional cookies may remember optional preferences such as interface choices.
  • You can change optional cookie choices from Cookie settings.

How We Use Information

  • To provide the OutlierView dashboard, content library, comments, analytics, crawler, and content ideas features.
  • To connect to third-party platforms only when you authorize a connection and choose to use related account features.
  • To use authorized YouTube comments, channel history, and Analytics metrics to create classifications, summaries, and creator recommendations that are visible only inside the requesting user's workspace.
  • To protect accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve product reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Third-Party Platform Connections

  • When you connect a third-party platform, OutlierView uses OAuth so you can authorize access without sharing your platform password with us.
  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you request, such as reading account information, comments, and analytics allowed by the granted scopes.
  • You can revoke platform access from OutlierView or from the connected platform's account settings.

Google And YouTube Data

  • When you connect a YouTube account, OutlierView may access Google and YouTube data authorized by you, including your YouTube channel information, channel metadata, authorized content history, comments, and YouTube Analytics reports.
  • OutlierView uses raw, aggregated, and derived Google and YouTube data only to identify the connected channel, display creator analytics, sync authorized channel and comment signals, and generate creator workflow insights inside your workspace.
  • For user-facing classifications and creator insights, OutlierView sends only the relevant YouTube comments, channel-history signals, or Analytics metrics to the paid Gemini API. OAuth tokens are never sent to Gemini. The paid Gemini API terms state that prompts and responses are not used to improve Google products.
  • OutlierView does not upload, edit, or delete your YouTube videos.
  • OutlierView does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising or retargeting, determine creditworthiness from Google user data, or train generalized AI models with Google user data.
  • OutlierView personnel do not read Google user data except when the user gives permission for support, when access is required to investigate security or abuse, or when required by law.
  • OutlierView's use and transfer of raw or derived information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

Children, International Processing And Regional Rights

  • OutlierView is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts and subscriptions are limited to people who are at least 18 or the age of majority where they live.
  • OutlierView is operated with U.S.-based processing, and provider locations may involve cross-border transfers. Where required, OutlierView relies on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for those transfers.
  • Privacy rights vary by location and may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, opt-out, or appeal. Contact customer.support@outlierview.com to make or appeal a request; OutlierView may need to verify your identity before responding.

Retention And Security

  • Account and workspace data is retained while the workspace is active and until a verified deletion request is completed. Deleted after a verified workspace-deletion request, subject to records that must be retained for legal, billing, fraud, or security purposes.
  • Connected-platform credentials and data is retained only while needed for an active authorized connection and the requested features, with API data refreshed or deleted under the applicable platform rules. OAuth credentials and associated platform data are deleted on disconnection or verified deletion request within the applicable policy deadline.
  • AI inputs, outputs, embeddings, and derived reports is retained while the related workspace source and requested output remain active, unless a shorter platform-data rule applies. Deleted with the related source data, platform disconnection, or verified workspace-deletion request, except wholly manual content retained by the user.
  • Billing, subscription, invoice, tax, and credit records is retained for the subscription lifecycle and afterward where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal obligations require it. Removed when no longer required for those purposes; full payment credentials remain with Stripe.
  • Email delivery and preference records is retained while needed to deliver messages, honor preferences, diagnose delivery, and meet legal obligations. Removed or minimized when no longer needed, subject to suppression, abuse-prevention, and legal records.
  • Security, consent, audit, and operational records is retained only as long as needed for reliability, security, abuse prevention, consent evidence, and legal obligations. Deleted or minimized when the applicable operational, security, or legal purpose ends.
  • When you disconnect YouTube, OutlierView immediately deletes the stored OAuth tokens and connection record, synced channel and video data, comments and replies, Analytics and insight caches, AI embeddings and reports, and non-manual content ideas derived from YouTube. Wholly manual content ideas remain in your workspace.
  • OutlierView attempts to revoke the Google OAuth grant during disconnection. Local Google-derived data is deleted even if Google's revocation endpoint is temporarily unavailable; you can also revoke OutlierView from your Google Account connections.
  • After YouTube disconnection, OutlierView retains only a minimal audit event stating that deletion occurred; the event contains no Google user data.
  • We protect data in transit with HTTPS, encrypt OAuth tokens before storage using authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption, and restrict workspace data through authenticated access controls. No internet service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
  • Report a suspected security issue or ask about data handling at customer.support@outlierview.com. OutlierView investigates reports and takes action appropriate to the verified risk.
  • OutlierView does not claim a security certification, service-level agreement, penetration-testing program, uptime commitment, or guarantee of absolute security.

Your Choices

  • You can disconnect platform accounts, revoke OAuth access, update account information, or request deletion of workspace data where required by applicable law.
  • You can also revoke OutlierView's Google access from your Google Account security settings. After revocation, OutlierView deletes associated Google and YouTube API data according to the timelines described in Retention And Security.
  • You can request deletion of your OutlierView workspace and remaining account data by contacting customer.support@outlierview.com.

  • If this Privacy Policy changes materially, OutlierView will update this page and the effective date above.
